I’m a licensed cosmetologist with almost 10 years of experience behind the chair, including extensive assisting. Since having my daughter, I’ve stepped back from working full-time behind the chair and am offering freelance assisting for stylists or salons who need extra help.

Whether you need support for one busy day or a few times a month, I’m here to make your schedule run smoother.

Services Offered:

General Salon Support:

Laundry, sweeping, keeping the backbar and color area organized, cleaning tools, and maintaining a clean workspace.

Shampoo, Tone & Blowdry:

Washing out color, applying toners, rinsing, and blowdrying.

Color Application:

Root touch-ups, all-over color, mixing, and assisting with highlights.

Event Styling Support:

Extra hands for weddings or formal styles when you need additional help.

Content Creation:

Help capturing salon content such as: BTS, working shots & videos, before & after's etc.

Available Days & Times:

Available Tuesday, Friday & Saturday

10:00am - 6:30pm

Rates:

Local Rate (within 20 miles of Cleburne)- $25/Hour

Travel Rate (21-40 miles from Cleburne) -

$30-$35/Hour

How It Works:

I handle all my own taxes as an independent contractor. If I work with you for more than $600 in a year, you’ll just provide a 1099-NEC at tax time. If it’s under $600, no form is required on your end. I will send an invoice to paid at the end of each day/week through Vagaro for easy record keeping. It will show up as “Hair By Taylor Britain”.
